Aachen Confirms the Quality of Elvo Stallions

Dear friends and equestrian enthusiasts,

The Rolex CSIO5* in Aachen has come to an end, yet we can still hear the echoes of applause in the legendary Main Arena, where show jumping history was written once again. A unique event—the most important on the global equestrian stage—where sport, passion, and elite breeding merge into a thrilling experience.

The Magic of the Nations Cup

Among the most captivating moments of the entire show was undoubtedly the Nations Cup—an event that moves the hearts of the audience year after year. The packed grandstands, waving flags, and electric atmosphere set the stage for a nail-biting competition down to the very last jump.

Victory went to the United States, who claimed the Cup with a strong and determined team. Among them, the beloved Laura Kraut shone aboard Biquetta, daughter of our stallion Bisquet Balou—an incredible emotion to witness her triumph with a mare so closely tied to our breeding program.

Second place went to Belgium, who fought passionately until the end. A brilliant performance by young Jos Verlooy riding Parise van den Dael, daughter of Zazu (I Am Moerhoeve’s Star): a newly formed partnership that already shows exceptional harmony and highlights all the mare’s qualities, once again proving the sire’s value as a producer.

Germany, the host nation, placed fourth, with the ever-reliable Christian Kukuk and his Cepano Baloubet, son of the great Chaman—a stallion who continues to leave an indelible mark on international sport.

Other Noteworthy Results

The day after the Nations Cup, in the Allianz Prize, American rider McLain Ward stood out once again, taking third place with High Star Hero—another offspring of our Zazu. This further confirms the quality and consistency of his progeny at the highest level.

In the Youngster Cup, the spotlight was on tomorrow’s stars:

  • First place went to Lillie Keenan with Chagrin D’Amour, son of Candy de Nantuel—an impeccable round that thrilled the crowd.

  • Third place for Olympic champion Ben Maher riding Maddox vh Haringvliet Z, son of stallion Monte Bellini.

  • Fifth place for Christian Kukuk, once again in the spotlight, this time aboard Oganero P, one of the newest additions to Ludger Beerbaum’s stable.

In the Mystic Rose Prize, two German riders placed in the top ten:

  • Jen Baachmann with Zealand 3 (son of Zindine)

  • Christian Kukuk again, with Cepano Baloubet (son of Chaman), a true star of this CSIO.

The Rolex Grand Prix: A Grand Finale

The Rolex Grand Prix, the highlight of the entire event, gave us unforgettable emotions. Martin Fuchs, Laura Kraut (once again!), and Steve Guerdat made up a stellar podium, but our hearts were with Kent Farrington and his stunning Greya, daughter of Colestus. A small mistake in the second round dashed their hopes for a jump-off, but their performance remains an outstanding display of quality and talent.

Thank You, Aachen – See You in 2026!

Congratulations to all riders and horses who competed in the world’s most iconic arena. It was an honor to see so many offspring of our stallions competing at the highest levels, confirming the dedication, selection, and passion that define our work.

We can only say: see you in Aachen for the World Championships in 2026!
