The Importance of Damlines: The Heart of Our Breeding Program

In the world of sport horse breeding, stallions often take center stage. But those truly familiar with the industry know that the real strength of a stable lies in its mares. Female bloodlines are the genetic foundation upon which champions are built—passing down quality, character, and sporting talent.

At Elvo Stables, we have carefully selected broodmares from high-level maternal lines—carriers of winning blood and already proven on the international stage.

ISOLDE DE MUZE
Daughter of the legendary Nabab de Rêve and the iconic Barones, she carries in her blood champions like Gancia de Muze (1.70m) and Homer de Muze (1.55m, now a sire).
Isolde herself competed up to 1.50m and produced Liebe de Muze (1.40m), and today she blesses us with two young hopefuls:
Touchdown Elvo Z (2024, by Toulon) and Deliah Elvo Z (2025, by Don’t Touch Tiji Hero).

TAHITI Z
A direct descendant of the “de la Pomme” line—one of the pillars of modern breeding. Her dam Duchesse jumped 1.70m and produced champions such as Dalila de la Pomme and Gentiane de la Pomme.
Our Celerina Elvo Z (by Carrera VDL) is her first daughter, a stunning blend of beauty and power.

CARYNIA
Italian-bred, by Cardento x Emilion, she is the uterine sister of horses like Play On (1.60m), Lindox (1.50m), as well as Centolina and Centolina Seconda (both 1.45m).
A solid, generous, and successful line from which we will continue to build with great confidence.

ESPOIR
An international jumper with Pieter Devos, daughter of the great Diamant de Semilly. Her dam produced top performers like Vanity van de Grundeval (1.60m).
In 2025, she gave us a magnificent colt by Chacco Blue.

HELENA DU PRATEL
A 1.35m jumper, she belongs to one of the most prolific bloodlines in France: she is the uterine sister of Cash du Pratel and Ulane de Coquerie (1.60m).
She is the dam of a 2024 foal by Baltic VDL, and we eagerly await her 2025 foal by Untouchable 27.

JUICE VAN’T HEIKE
A 1.45m jumper, born from a powerful maternal line (Cleo Z), and sister to Kamara van’t Heike (1.60m) and Mustang van’t Heike (1.50m).
A mix of technique and power that makes a lasting impact.

MHS BE BRAVE
Daughter of Untouchable 27, she carries the bloodlines of Kilkenny (1.60m), MHS Going Global (1.60m)—a star of the world’s greatest arenas—as well as MHS High Hopes (1.60m) and MHS Everything (1.50m).
A family that has shaped recent show jumping history, producing horses up to 165 cm in height.

📌 Choosing a prestigious stallion is not enough: to breed outstanding horses, you must start with exceptional mares. Our female bloodlines are our true legacy—our most precious investment.
