The Italian Event Dedicated to Breeding
2024: An Incredible Year—the Year the Olympics Return to Europe, to France, Just a Stone’s Throw Away.
For us, as for any breeder of sport horses or any athlete striving for the greatest dream, an Olympic year signifies a fresh start. In our case, in collaboration with our experts Stefano Cesaretto and his wife Giulia Martinengo Marquet, the reigning Italian Champion, we carefully select the most promising horses within our breeding program. These are the horses we believe in—the ones we aim to guide along a path that, who knows, might lead them all the way to Los Angeles 2028.
Our mission has always been to produce top-level sport horses, and in 2023, the ELVO’S FOAL FESTIVAL was born with the goal of giving our horses—and Italian breeding—the international stage they truly deserve.
Thanks to the timing of the 2023 edition, held alongside the European Championships in Milan, we attracted a large audience of passionate enthusiasts to our facilities.
550 guests were seated at tables, with another hundred standing.
The evening began with an aperitif inside the stables, accompanied by live music. This offered guests the opportunity to explore the bloodlines of the foals presented at auction, admire the young horses, and engage in conversation with breeders.
The night continued in the indoor arena, transformed into a stunning banquet hall, with the auction ring at its heart.
As the 31 auction lots entered, accompanied by music, guests placed their bids by raising their hands, all while enjoying carefully crafted local appetizers and first courses prepared by Maio Catering.
The evening concluded with a garden party, featuring a barbecue, live music, and a dessert buffet.
For the 2024 edition, the auction will be divided into two separate sessions:
At the same time, the EEF Longines League Final will take place in Warsaw. During our event, we will provide a lounge area with a large screen, allowing guests to follow both our Elite Auction and the competition.
For the Saturday night auction, we have carefully selected 20 exceptional foals, boasting elite bloodlines—some of them direct descendants of athletes competing at Paris 2024.
The Marché Auction, on the other hand, will provide an opportunity for any Italian breeder to showcase and present their horses.
The guest profile for the evening will primarily consist of enthusiasts, industry professionals, and HNWIs (High-Net-Worth Individuals).
