"We bought Verdine in Belgium when she was seven years old. There was an incredible connection, but I was also aware that she was a tricky mare to win over," says Giulia Martinengo Marquet, remembering the early days with Verdine SZ. Verdine had her breakthrough between the age of nine and ten, reaching her peak in 2018 with Nations Cups and Grand Prix events at five-star CSIO. Her dam line includes numerous international jumpers, and she is a direct sister to Maya S and Bonheur S, both 1.60m competitors. Verdine is a modern mare with blood and remarkable courage. She passes on her determined character, combined with excellent jumping technique and exceptional quality. Her first offspring are now six years old and are successfully competing in young horse classes at CSI events.
