BUTTON SITTE was born in 2007 at the stables of Horse of Belgium from OGANO SITTE and RIVIERA SITTE (Parco x Aramis de la Cense). At the age of three, he was approved for the SBS Studbook. In 2012, as a 5-year-old, he ranked 9th in the Belgian "Cycle Classique" without a single fault throughout the entire season!
At the age of 6, he was imported to Switzerland, where he was approved by the Cheval Suisse Studbook thanks to his sporting and genetic achievements. He immediately achieved numerous excellent placements in competitions reserved for young horses, showcasing energetic gaits, extraordinary balance, great potential, and an innate jumping technique. At 7 years old, under the saddle of Martina Meroni, he secured placements and victories in international 140 categories. At the age of 8, BUTTON SITTE demonstrated his immense potential: under the saddle of Clint Sulmoni, he achieved numerous prestigious placements in categories up to 150.
In 2015, BUTTON SITTE was sold and exported to the USA, where he continued his sporting career.
His maternal lineage boasts four generations of international jumpers (his dam, RIVIERA SITTE, was a winner in the 145 category with the same rider, Martina Meroni). His sire, OGANO SITTE, achieved multiple victories in high-level international competitions.
BUTTON SITTEās offspring are already making a name for themselves. In 2014, his son FIDELGO DU HOUSSOIT (Button Sitte x Ksar Sitte) was approved for the SBS Studbook after achieving 4th place in the free-jumping competition at CSI-W Mechelen. In 2015, another son, GRECO SITTE (Button Sitte x Argentinus), was approved for the SBS Studbook. In 2013, his first foals were born in Switzerland: two of them qualified for the final of the Swiss Foal Championship (ZVCH/FECH), where S.M. BEEZIE (Button Sitte x Diamant de Semilly) achieved an excellent 6th place in the jumping mare category.
