Infused with Olympic genes, this magnificent athlete boasts a pedigree that resonates with power and prowess. He presents with strong type, has a vigorous uphill gallop and showcases the full extent of his lineage’s jumping excellence: take-off, ability, bascule, and technique – all meticulously honed to reach optimal standards. In 2018, Chappeloup confidently qualified for the prestigious Bundeschampionat of German Show Jumping Horses. Since then, he has consistently placed and triumphed in various tests for young show jumpers and competitions up to the medium (M) level. His stellar performance extends to a noteworthy achievement in his 50-day test in Schlieckau (final score with jumping focus 8.49). Now, under Magdalena Margreiter (AUT), he has achieved international success up to an impressive 1.55m. In 2024 he became Austrian national champion under his steady rider with 4 clear rounds and a height of 1.60m. Sire Fergar Mail is a son of the successful French thoroughbred Laudanum xx out of a Hanoverian mare by Almé Z-Gotthard-Friesenkönig, bred in Zangersheide. With great jumping genes, Fergar Mail was an international success in Mexico as Chapultepec la Silla and sired renowned stallions Lamm de Fétan/ Thimothée Anciaume (FRA, Nations Cup winner CHIO Aachen 2009) and Singular LS la Silla/Maria Getzer (SWE) and Marcus Ehning. On the dam’s side, Chappeloup inherits excellence from stallions Caretano Z and Coriano, prominent figures in international show jumping. The granddam Legende produced the esteemed sire Nekton. Further back, great-granddam Viola XI produced the internationally successful sire Cento (by Capitol I), a decorated champion who won the Grand Prix in La Baule (FRA), Munich, Aachen and Calgary (CAN) under Otto Becker. He was also World Cup winner, Olympic team champion and European team champion in 2000. This esteemed Holstein line 2137 has produced 17 licensed stallions to date.
